Morrison Utility Services

Company overview

Our vision is to be the leading utility service provider, delivering a cost-effective, quality service to our clients. In simple terms this means ‘delivering what we promise’, with safety as our number one business driver.

Our people are our most important asset. We invest in training and development programmes that produce teams capable of offering the expertise and dependability our clients rely on. Our mission is to add value continuously, either through incremental changes to our systems or via innovations that improve the way we work.

Career development

We have a number of apprentices working across our business. They cover disciplines across our key business sectors of electricity, gas, telecoms and water.

Designed to train people from 18 years old and upwards, Apprenticeships are placed across the UK and work towards qualifications recognised throughout the utilities industry. Our Apprenticeships are also recognised by the National Apprenticeship Service.

Minimum entry requirements are English and maths GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, plus one other subject. Applicants will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn, be hardworking and enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team.

Training is a balanced mix of on-site experience and classroom-based learning.

Morrison Utility Services gives you the opportunity to make the most of your degree by joining our three-year graduate programme. Designed to ensure rounded development and provide specialist knowledge and experience, our scheme enables you to gain professional status or additional academic qualifications while making progress in your chosen field.

During this individually-tailored programme, you will also benefit from the support and guidance of a mentor.

You choose the role that’s right for you, from design, mechanical and electrical, electrical or civil engineer to QS or a management trainee.

Candidates must have at least a 2:1.
