We are now recruiting for Planning Coordinators to work within our new Service Team for the Galloper Wind Farm off the coast of Harwich. Working for our Service business you will plan, coordinate and support field personnel in conducting servicing and maintenance of wind turbines at our Galloper Wind Farm in Harwich, Essex.

You will also be responsible for effective administration of Siemens wind farm sites including technical and commercial record-keeping and clear separation of costs between service and warranty activities in line with the customer contract. The role will provide you with lots of variety, learning opportunities and a good team culture. As a Service Coordinator you will work as part of a team of 4 coordinators based in our Customer office in the Port of Harwich. You will work 12 hour, 4 days on - 4 days off shift pattern so living within commuting distance of Harwich Port is essential.  

You will be responsible for raising, scheduling and allocation of both planned and unplanned maintenance activities, vessel coordinator/port operation and creating weekly plans for the site team. You will need to accurately collate data for billings and parts replenishment via a SAP system. Maintain accurate reporting, utilising our database and other electronic workflow systems, ensuring compliance with customer and contractual obligations whilst executing the contract.

To qualify for this role you will have a back ground in a planning or coordination role ideally with previous knowledge of using a SAP system or similar software being. Knowledge or experience of the below is also required:

  • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages

  • Good knowledge on health and safety legislation and documentation would be advantageous

  • Competent to work under pressure and take responsibility for own work

  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with a range of different people from all levels of the business.

What else do I need to know?

  • Detailed experience of wind turbine maintenance is desirable, but not essential to the role

  • Up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation beneficial

  • Excellent I.T. skills

  • An understanding of the logistics of working within the offshore environment desirable

  • Flexible approach to working hours and working away from usual location including european travel
