DESCRIPTION


Providing operational support to the Zone Leader and Zone Support team, the Project Coordinator will work within the Frontline Zone Team facilitating and co-ordinating all aspects of the repair of HV (high voltage) and LV (low voltage) faults.

Assisting with the delivery of minor investment works associated with Zone Engineers and Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will also support the delivery of the zone maintenance programme, providing interface with contractors and internal businesses to contribute with the delivery of projects.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Contributes as an effective member of the district operations/delivery team.
  • Day to day coordination of fault repair.
  • Carries out tasks in accordance with SP Energy Networks safety rules.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered within timescales and to cost.
  • Coordination of field staff/material requirements.
  • Required standard of safety, quality and environmental management.
  • Work towards a zero accident culture and lead by example.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all aspects of operation, actively promoting customer service standards within area of responsibility.
  • Comply with site and workplace audits.
  • Attendance at monthly team meetings.
  • All appropriate safety documentation complied with.
  • Zero accident rate achieved.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Awareness of network development policies and procedures.
  • Developed customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of network and the network management systems.
  • Contract management skills and general commercial & regulatory awareness.
  • Developed negotiation, communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • An effective and confident written and verbal communicator.
 
MINIMUM CRITERIA
  • A crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in Project Delivery role.
  • Computer literacy e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
  • Working knowledge of company Health & Safety requirements and compliance.
  • An effective and confident written and verbal communicator.
