Job description

Join us, as a Health and Safety Advisor, working across Networks Delivery Scotland providing business-wide leadership, strategy and direction integrating business and group Health and Safety policies, programs and processes in support of operational excellence, legal compliance and safe working practices.  You will be seen as a technical expert and reference for safety from your experience working in energy related projects in an engineering and construction environment.

This is a chance to work on a global platform and get involved with multi-million pound energy construction projects. Using your proven experience and technical expertise to advise, coach, mentor, influence and monitor best practice projects safety management across the full life-cycle of activities within the project.  You will provide consistency in approach, bench-marking internal and external practices and driving performance to support operational excellence. 

If you’re looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to join the utility company of the future and apply your knowledge in UK safety legislation and regulatory awareness; the successful candidate ideally will be qualified in a relevant Health and Safety framework and have demonstrable on the job experience in a similar delivery focused role on large scale projects and the ability to communicate and interact collaboratively with a range of parties to adapt to emerging priorities within a fast paced business.
