Job description

Join us, as a Quantity Surveyor, working across Networks Delivery Scotland providing business-wide leadership, strategy and direction integrating business and group Health and Safety policies, programs and processes in support of operational excellence, legal compliance and safe working practices.  As a technical expert in Civil Engineering projects you will prepare accurate BOQ’s, measurements and values ensuring risk is limited whilst achieving the required standard and quality for the business in line with best practise for safe working practises.

This is a chance to work on a global platform and get involved with multi-million pound energy construction projects. Using your proven commercial experience of high value projects in an engineering and construction environment; you will deliver across the full life-cycle of activities from tendering to delivery of contract.  You will provide consistency in approach, bench-marking internal and external practices and driving performance to support operational excellence. 

If you’re looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to join the utility company of the future and apply your knowledge of UK Construction Sites and regulatory awareness and ideally have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.  In addition with your ability to communicate and interact collaboratively with a range of parties to adapt to emerging priorities within a fast paced business this could be the new role for you.
