We are looking for 2 experienced and talented Account Managers to join our Digital Factory and Processes and Drives business.  You will be home based (with UK travel to customer sites) and your role will be to cover key accounts across the UK and will have responsibility for; account development, sales, customer satisfaction and customer relationship management.

 

 

 

 

You will:

 

 

 

 

  • Work on established Food & Beverage (F&B) accounts but will also identify and develop new accounts and opportunities to meet sales targets.

  • Use a value selling approach whereby the role holder will empathise with the customer, fully understand their requirements and align this with the Siemens portfolio.

  • Build & maintain strong, long lasting trusted advisor relationships with F&B end users, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors in order to demonstrate the value of the Siemens proposition to executive-level decision makers within the accounts.

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.

  • Ensure timely delivery of Siemens proposals, products, solutions according to the customer needs and objectives.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics.

  • Develop an account business plan for assigned accounts including setting a long term goal for the accounts and identifying strategic projects which make up the plan.

  • Identify project and MRO supply chain and collaborate with wider sales team (regional, distribution, corporate, VSS) to enable the specification to be maintained and to develop cross selling opportunities in

  • Achieve agreed sales and turnover targets.

  • Accurately and regularly maintain account data, using Philos.


     

    The candidate

     

    Someone with/who:

 

 

  • You will have demonstrable experience as a successful Account Manager (F&B background is advantageous) however we welcome applications from individuals from alternative industries.

  • HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification would be desirable.

  • Real passion and commitment for the F&B industry.

  • Experience selling to end users would be preferred as well as experience in a business development role.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • The ability to manage resources, activities and time effectively.

  • The capability to present convincingly the Siemens proposition at board level is essential.

  • You will be able to travel across the UK to visit customer sites and therefore a UK full diving licence is essential.
