About the role
We currently have a vacancy as a Project Coordinator working within the SP Energy Networks business. Responsible for delivering the safe provision of one of the following specific activities with strict adherence to the appropriate regulatory and license obligations for the electricity distribution network:
* Operations & Maintenance
* Investment Projects
* Customer Projects

 The Project Coordinator will deliver district business plan outputs in line with financial, regulatory and business plan objectives whilst optimising return through incentive mechanisms. Through active customer and stakeholder engagement, support delivery of robust communication activities to facilitate the delivery of project plans affecting local communities, customers and stakeholders.

You will deliver project plans to facilitate business deliverables in line with district and licence plans which are devised to minimise outages to customers, ensuring efficient effective delivery of performance targets as appropriate. The role will involve contract management, operational switching and safety document activities up to 33kV, and project management to effectively deliver the business plan.

Safety legislation should be implemented and delivered through all activities and the post-holder should demonstrate and promote exemplary safety behaviours as well as support the integration of asset stewardship and ownership values through sound engineering principles and coordinated planning and delivery activities to improve integrity, safety and longevity of the electrical network.

About you
We will be looking for someone who has a crafts qualification/apprenticeship/S/NVQ, and ideally has experience in a project delivery role therefore will have network construction and operational experience including working knowledge of construction and maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements, and engineering standards and specifications up to 33kV.

As this role will involve the effective delivery of project and initiatives, project/programme coordination experience would be valuable as knowledge of the regulatory environment including relevant output and incentive mechanisms and general contract, commercial and regulatory awareness will be required. You should also be proficient with IT & Software packages such as Microsoft Office.

You will be required to present information efficiently at all levels and give effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management, therefore we will be looking for someone with strong communication skills. You should also be able to manage competing priorities using sound engineering and financial judgement to determine optimal solutions and devise solutions to problems or challenges.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Middlewich with a starting salary from £29,434 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
