Join us, as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer, working for the UK Thermal Engineering Team you will provide support for a number of C&I activities.  Working within a global company this is an exciting time to work with a combination of different technologies at a number of different sites across this diverse business.  

Primarily you will ensure compliance and governance for the various C&I systems, you’ll manage and implement projects during shutdown periods. The role will include support for a number of different power plants at different locations which include a wide array of control and monitoring systems; you will directly be involved in the control of risks associated with SIL systems/Obsolescence/Cyber security/DSEAR utilising your project management ability.  You will also assist in maintenance activities when required to keep the plant running round the clock to deliver for our customers.

To enjoy the benefits of working for the employer of the future we will essentially be looking for you to have a qualification in Control/Electronic Engineering or process operations.  In return we will use your previous experience of maintenance of a CCGT or similar plant to focus on delivering results and directing a team to allow you to develop your career with us.  Using your NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent principles of health and safety working knowledge this will help us to achieve plant maintenance targets safely.  We would like to benefit from your self-motivation and excellent communication skills when you join our small diverse team to encourage collaborative working relationships.
